TIBETAN THANGKAS

HERITAGE AND SHARING: INTRODUCING THANGKAS TO THE WORLD

As passionate enthusiasts and collectors of Tibetan art, our members have spent over 30 years traveling across the Tibetan regions of Tibet, Qinghai, Yunnan, and Sichuan. From the towering mountains to the expansive grasslands, from ancient monasteries to talented folk artists, we have explored these lands, embracing their culture with our hearts.

Through years of dedication, we have been fortunate to acquire some of the finest thangkas from the late Qing Dynasty and early Republican period. These artworks not only reflect the deep spiritual beliefs of Tibetan Buddhism but also embody the Tibetan people's profound understanding of nature, life, and the soul. At the same time, we have given back to these communities by donating funds to support temple restorations, cultural preservation, and improving the living conditions of local Tibetans.

Today, with a heart full of gratitude, we aspire to introduce this magnificent folk art to the world. Thangkas are more than just paintings; they are bridges that connect the history, culture, and stories of the Tibetan people to every corner of the globe.

Our vision is for everyone to own a thangka, so they can appreciate its beauty while also discovering the world behind it—a sacred land on the roof of the world, with its unique faith, moving stories, and the Tibetan people's hopes and blessings for life.
